Thank you Dr. Smith for helping me become active again!

Before seeing Dr. Smith I had been to other doctors to be screened for arthritis and other potential causes of my joint pain.  I am 42 and after searching for an answer for a while, resigned myself to the fact that my issues were just old age creeping up on me. 

I was referred to Dr. Smith by my wife who raved about her as well as a co-worker who had been treated by her.   I went to see her, not for my joint issues, but because I had injured my back at a yoga class.   During our initial visit she asked me many questions about my health history. Although I was not there to address my joint issues, she indicated during my evaluation that, at my age, I should not be having joint issues and that there could be another cause.

Dr. Smith recognized that my joint issues might simply be a problem with my diet and had me tested for some latent allergies as well as other problems that can be associated with diet.  Ultimately, I was diagnosed with some latent allergy issues and a condition known as Candida. 

Within three months of going on the prescribed diet and wellness plan my joint issues had subsided and I was back to normal activity. I was able to take up running again for the first time in years!
